A week has already passed since the Fintech Latvia Association visited Japan as part of the official delegation of the President and the Minister of Economics of Latvia. While the work continues, the visit laid a strong foundation for future collaboration.

• We introduced Latvia’s value proposition to companies interested in expanding into the EU market — both during a workshop kindly hosted by THE FINTECH CENTER of TOKYO, FINOLAB, and at the Business Forum organized by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA). Huge thanks for making this possible!
• We met with Global Financial City Osaka, exchanging insights on developing a fintech hub and learning more about their offering for companies considering Japan as a market.
• It was a privilege to attend Latvia’s National Day performance at Expo — a moving and proud moment for all of us.
  

And, of course, we were truly grateful to experience a small but enriching glimpse of Japan’s cities, nature, and history.
