Throughout the first quarter of 2025, we proactively met with parliamentary factions to deepen their understanding of the fintech sector, its role in driving innovation and financial inclusion, and to present targeted policy recommendations.

During this meeting, we discussed Latvia’s place on the European and global fintech map and presented our efforts to attract new companies and support their growth here. It was a great opportunity for our members to share insights into their business models.

While the “Progresīvie” faction of the Saeima declined to meet with us during this period, we remain hopeful that they may reconsider their decision in the future, and we continue to work towards establishing a constructive dialogue.
