From May 9–10, an essential part of Latvia’s fintech ecosystem — P2P investment and ECSP crowdfunding platforms — was on full display at Invest 2025 in Stuttgart, one of Germany’s most important finance and investment exhibitions.

The national stand, organized by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia, featured seven forward-looking fintech companies: Mintos, Debitum Investments, TWINO, VIAINVEST, LANDE, Indemo.eu, and nectaro. Latvia showed both proven international success and new-generation ambition — with Mintos standing as Europe’s largest loan investment platform and others clearly aiming for global reach.

The buzz around the Latvian stand was unmistakable. Investor interest was high and wide-ranging — from real estate and agricultural finance to lending and alternative investment options. This level of engagement highlighted the growing maturity and depth of Latvia’s fintech sector.

Dāvis Ziediņš, Head of Business Development at Debitum Investments and a member of the Fintech Latvia Association’s Investment Platforms expert group, noted the immense value of face-to-face meetings. With over 30% of Debitum’s users based in Germany, it was a rare opportunity to meet investors directly. “One guy just came up and said, ‘I invest through Debitum. I like everything. Bye!’ — moments like that stick with you,” he shared.

Dāvis also outlined some key takeaways from the event:

• The event felt significantly bigger than last year — more people, more energy
  
• Latvia’s joint stand stood out — visitors ranged from curious newcomers to loyal clients
  
• Personal connections with investors are irreplaceable
  
• Mintos is often mistaken for a German company — a sign of deep recognition that boosts the entire Latvian fintech pack
  
• Presenting seven platforms together creates far more impact than standing alone
