On December 1, 2022 Fintech Latvia association organised the Fintech Breakfast networking event “Cyber security trends and challenges in the fintech sector” to meet with fellow fintech professionals and partners in a welcoming environment over a cup of coffee and a croissant.
During the event we have discussed the challenges Latvian fintech companies are facing and the importance of timely improvement in business continuity management. While the dependency on outsourcing services and 3rd party providers is increasing, it is crucial for any financial service provider to manage the digitalisation in the way to ensure stable ICT security function, arrange penetration testing and take care of data related issues to manage growing cyber risks efficiently.
